Victoria’s Spring Racing Carnival is a breathtaking celebration covering 50 days of world-class metropolitan and country racing. It’s Australia’s biggest sporting event and captures the interest of the nation like no other. Held at all Melbourne's Metropolitan Race Courses including Flemington, Moonee Valley, Caufield and Sandown.

 

Whether for you it’s the horses; the jockeys and trainers; the fashion, colour and glamour, or just a great day out, this year’s carnival will be bigger and better than ever before and you are invited to be a part of it. Last year, almost 660,000 people attended Spring Racing Carnival meetings.

 

The Spring Racing Carnival well and truly puts Victoria on the international map. Not only do races such as the Carlton Draught Caulfield Cup, Carlton Draught Cox Plate and Emirates Melbourne Cup stop the nation, they are increasingly stopping the world.
